D\u00fcnya liderleri ve \u00f6nde gelen kurulu\u015flar felaketleri \u00f6nlemenin yollar\u0131n\u0131 ar\u0131yor. Farkl\u0131 co\u011frafyalarda artan s\u0131cakl\u0131klar\u0131n k\u00f6r\u00fckledi\u011fi yang\u0131nlar, hortumlar, seller, kas\u0131rgalar gibi do\u011fa olaylar\u0131n\u0131n art\u0131k eskiye nazaran \u00e7ok daha \u015fiddetli ve s\u0131k ya\u015fanmas\u0131 endi\u015feleri art\u0131r\u0131yor. Buzullardaki erimenin artmas\u0131 ise yeni tehlikelere kap\u0131 aral\u0131yor.\u00a0<br \/>\nD\u00fcnya Meteoroloji \u00d6rg\u00fct\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn payla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilgilere g\u00f6re, Kuzey Kutbu\u2019nda \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclen s\u0131cakl\u0131k de\u011ferleri g\u00fcnden g\u00fcne art\u0131yor. Temmuz 2020\u2019ye ait veriler, Kuzey Kutbu\u2019nun son d\u00f6nemde d\u00fcnya ortalamas\u0131ndan iki kat fazla \u0131s\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve Sibirya\u2019da s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n 30 santigrat derece ile Florida\u2019n\u0131n bile \u00fczerine \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyor. Kuzey Kutbu\u2019nda ya\u015fananlar\u0131n y\u00fcz milyonlarca insan\u0131n ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fcnya \u00fczerinde farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerindeki hava durumunu da etkiledi\u011fine dikkat \u00e7ekiliyor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Y\u00fcksek sera gaz\u0131 emisyonlar\u0131 canl\u0131 t\u00fcrlerini tehdit ediyor\u00a0<br \/>\nNature Climate dergisinde yay\u0131nlanan, Arktik ekosisteminde geri d\u00f6nd\u00fcr\u00fclemez tehlikeleri g\u00f6steren yeni iklim ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131na g\u00f6re, kutup b\u00f6lgesindeki buzlar g\u00fcncel h\u0131z\u0131nda azalmaya devam ederse iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi nedeniyle do\u011fal ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131 tehlike alt\u0131nda olan kutup ay\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n nesillerinin bu y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n sonunda t\u00fckenmi\u015f olabilece\u011fi \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmada, 1979-2016 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda g\u00f6zlemlenen demografik e\u011filimlere g\u00f6re yap\u0131lan modelleme, baz\u0131 alt pop\u00fclasyonlarda hayatta kalma etki e\u015fiklerinin zaten a\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olabilece\u011fini g\u00f6steriyor. Y\u00fcksek sera gaz\u0131 emisyonlar\u0131 nedeniyle \u00fcremenin ve hayatta kalman\u0131n h\u0131zla d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, 2100 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar birka\u00e7 t\u00fcr hari\u00e7 Kuzey Kutbu&#8217;ndaki alt pop\u00fclasyonlar\u0131n hepsinin ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n tehlikeye girdi\u011fi ifade ediliyor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Donmu\u015f topraklarda erime h\u0131zlan\u0131yor\u00a0<br \/>\nOECD\u2019nin 2012 y\u0131l\u0131nda yay\u0131mlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00c7evre Tahmin Raporu, iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi ile ilgili g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde ya\u015fananlar\u0131n foto\u011fraf\u0131n\u0131 8 y\u0131l \u00f6ncesinden g\u00f6stermesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan dikkat \u00e7ekiyor. Rapora g\u00f6re, 2020 y\u0131l\u0131ndan sonra karbon emisyonunu azaltmaya y\u00f6nelik \u00f6nlemler hayata ge\u00e7mezse d\u00fcnyay\u0131 \u00e7ok daha k\u00f6t\u00fc g\u00fcnler bekliyor. \u00d6zellikle buzullardaki ve \u201cpermafrost\u201d ad\u0131 verilen donmu\u015f topraklardaki erimenin artaca\u011f\u0131na ve bunun bir sonucu olarak 2050 y\u0131l\u0131nda hava durumundaki a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n \u00e7ok daha k\u00f6t\u00fc bir hale gelece\u011fine vurgu yap\u0131l\u0131yor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonmu\u015f topraklar\u0131n alt\u0131nda kalan vir\u00fcsler olduk\u00e7a tehlikeli\u201d\u00a0<br \/>\n\u0130klim bilimcilere g\u00f6re, kutup buzullar\u0131ndaki ve permafrost tabakas\u0131ndaki erimenin yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 tehlikeler bununla da kalm\u0131yor. Erimenin d\u00fcnya i\u00e7in tehdit olu\u015fturan bir ba\u015fka sonucu da t\u0131pk\u0131 korona vir\u00fcs gibi d\u00fcnyay\u0131 etkisi alt\u0131na alabilecek vir\u00fcsleri g\u00fcn y\u00fcz\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131karma ihtimali. Mu\u011fla S\u0131tk\u0131 Ko\u00e7man \u00dcniversitesi \u00c7evre Sorunlar\u0131 Ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve Uygulama Merkezi M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019nde g\u00f6rev yapan \u00d6\u011fretim G\u00f6revlisi Dr. Feyyaz Keskin\u2019e g\u00f6re de donmu\u015f topraklar\u0131n alt\u0131nda kalan vir\u00fcsler olduk\u00e7a tehlikeli. Keskin, Harvard \u00dcniversitesinden bilim insanlar\u0131n\u0131n 2019 y\u0131l\u0131nda yay\u0131nlad\u0131klar\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmayla bu tehlikenin b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne dikkat \u00e7ektiklerini hat\u0131rlatarak, \u201cAlaska\u2019n\u0131n kuzey yama\u00e7lar\u0131nda 312 kilometrekare alanda yap\u0131lan \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerde permafrost b\u00f6lgelerinde azot protoksit, yani karbondioksitten 300 kat daha etkili bir sera gaz\u0131 tespit edilmi\u015fti. \u00c7\u00f6kelti i\u00e7inde s\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131p kalan, buz tabakalar\u0131 ile kaplanm\u0131\u015f \u00e7\u00fcr\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f bitki ve \u00f6l\u00fc hayvanlar\u0131n kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131ndan kaynaklanan bu gazlar\u0131n varl\u0131\u011f\u0131, mikroorganizma faaliyetlerinin de varl\u0131\u011f\u0131na i\u015faret ediyor. \u00c7in\u2019de Tibet Platosu\u2019nun kuzeybat\u0131s\u0131nda Guliya buzulundan al\u0131nan 164 metrelik karot \u00f6rneklerinde yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda 33 farkl\u0131 vir\u00fcs pop\u00fclasyonu tespit edildi. Bunlar\u0131n 28\u2019i literat\u00fcr i\u00e7in \u2018yeni\u2019 olarak kaydedildi. Bu durum, t\u0131pk\u0131 mezarl\u0131klardan \u00e7i\u00e7ek hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n yay\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi permafrostta g\u00f6m\u00fcl\u00fc baz\u0131 patojenlerin k\u00fcresel \u0131s\u0131nma ile g\u00fcn y\u00fcz\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131kabilece\u011fi endi\u015fesine neden oluyor\u201d dedi.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPotansiyel salg\u0131n kayna\u011f\u0131\u201d\u00a0<br \/>\nBuzullar\u0131n ve donmu\u015f topraklar\u0131n ne t\u00fcr mikroorganizmalar\u0131 saklad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n bilinmedi\u011fini, ancak bunlar\u0131n potansiyel bir salg\u0131n kayna\u011f\u0131 olabilece\u011fini belirten Keskin, literat\u00fcre ge\u00e7en di\u011fer vakalar\u0131 ise \u015fu s\u00f6zlerle anlatt\u0131:\u00a0<br \/>\n\u201cA\u011fustos 2016&#8217;da Sibirya&#8217;daki Yamal Yar\u0131madas\u0131&#8217;nda 12 ya\u015f\u0131nda bir \u00e7ocuk \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015f, en az 20 ki\u015fi de \u015farbon nedeniyle hastanelik olmu\u015ftu. Sonu\u00e7 olarak bu tabakalar\u0131n erimesiyle olu\u015fan sular kendi ba\u015flar\u0131na hastal\u0131k yayabilece\u011fi gibi akarsu, nehir, yeralt\u0131 sular\u0131na kar\u0131\u015farak bar\u0131nd\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 patojenleri ve kirleticileri bulundu\u011fu b\u00f6lgeden \u00e7ok daha uzaklara ta\u015f\u0131yabilirler.\u201d\u00a0<br \/>\nDonmu\u015f toprak olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan permafrost tabakas\u0131n\u0131n Kuzey ve G\u00fcney Kutbu ile Alaska yar\u0131madas\u0131, Kanada, Rusya ve baz\u0131 Kuzey Avrupa b\u00f6lgelerini kapsayan geni\u015f bir ku\u015fakta bulundu\u011funun kaydeden Keskin, bu b\u00f6lgelerde ya\u015fam ve altyap\u0131n\u0131n mevcut iklim ko\u015fullar\u0131nda donarak \u015fekillenmi\u015f bu topraklar \u00fczerinde kurulmu\u015f oldu\u011funun alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izdi.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKarbon kirlili\u011fi h\u0131zlanmaya devam ederse sera etkisi \u015fiddetlenecek\u201d\u00a0<br \/>\nDonmu\u015f toprak tabakas\u0131nda d\u00fcnya atmosferinden kabaca iki kat daha fazla karbon bulundu\u011funu, tabakan\u0131n erimesiyle de sera gaz\u0131 etkisi olan bu gazlar\u0131n atmosfere yay\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirten Dr. Keskin, donmu\u015f toprak tabakalar\u0131n\u0131n erimesiyle atmosfere yay\u0131lan gazlar\u0131n, b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u2018sera etkisi\u2019 meydana getirece\u011fini ve ortalama s\u0131cakl\u0131klarda art\u0131\u015fa yol a\u00e7aca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. Keskin, \u201cEyl\u00fcl 2019\u2019da yap\u0131lan H\u00fck\u00fcmetler Aras\u0131 \u0130klim De\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi Paneli raporuna g\u00f6re, karbon kirlili\u011fi h\u0131zlanmaya devam ederse sera etkisinin \u015fiddetlenece\u011fi, permafrostun b\u00fcy\u00fck bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n 2100\u2019e kadar eriyebilece\u011fi ve b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7ekli bir sera gaz\u0131 sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n meydana gelece\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131k. Bu, hem k\u00fcresel \u0131s\u0131nman\u0131n bir sonucu hem de k\u00fcresel \u0131s\u0131nmay\u0131 h\u0131zland\u0131racak bir etki olacakt\u0131r. R\u00fczgar ve n\u00fckleer \u00f6zellikle en d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck karbon sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131na sahip enerji \u00e7e\u015fidi. Kesintisiz ve g\u00fcvenilir enerji sa\u011flamas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan n\u00fckleer enerjinin rol\u00fc \u00f6nemli. K\u00fcresel s\u0131cakl\u0131k art\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 1,5 santigrat derecenin alt\u0131nda tutmak i\u00e7in emisyonlarda gereken \u00f6nemli d\u00fc\u015f\u00fc\u015fler g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, bu kadar \u00e7ok y\u00f6nl\u00fc bir enerji kayna\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kimse g\u00f6z ard\u0131 edemez. Avrupa\u2019da \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclen de\u011ferler de n\u00fckleer enerjinin iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011finin etkilerini azaltma konusundaki katk\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koyuyor. Verilere g\u00f6re, Fransa ve \u0130sve\u00e7, sahip olduklar\u0131 n\u00fckleer santrallerle, farkl\u0131 enerji t\u00fcrlerini tercih eden Almanya\u2019ya g\u00f6re ekonomilerini ve end\u00fcstrilerini karbondan ar\u0131nd\u0131rma konusunda d\u00fcnyaya \u00e7ok daha b\u00fcy\u00fck bir katk\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015f durumda. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin de i\u00e7inde bulundu\u011fu Akdeniz B\u00f6lgesi ise d\u00fcnyadaki ba\u015fl\u0131ca iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi noktalar\u0131ndan biri. G\u00fcney ve Do\u011fu Akdeniz \u00fclkelerinin ki\u015fi ba\u015f\u0131na enerji talebinin 2040 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fczde 60 artaca\u011f\u0131 \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. \u0130klim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi ile m\u00fccadelede acil eylem planlar\u0131na ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z var. Bu planlar dahilinde direkt h\u00fck\u00fcmete ba\u011fl\u0131 bir \u0130klim Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn kurulmas\u0131 da do\u011fru stratejilerin \u00fcretilmesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye b\u00fcy\u00fck bir katk\u0131 sa\u011flayacakt\u0131r. \u00dclke olarak son y\u0131llarda yenilenilir enerji yat\u0131r\u0131mlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 art\u0131rmam\u0131za ra\u011fmen artan enerji ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z i\u00e7in halen fosil yak\u0131tlara ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131y\u0131z. Mersin\u2019de yap\u0131m\u0131 devam eden Akkuyu N\u00fckleer Santrali ile n\u00fckleer enerjiden d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck karbonlu elektrik \u00fcretimi i\u00e7in ilk ad\u0131m\u0131 atan \u00fclkeler aras\u0131nda yer almam\u0131z \u00f6nemli.
